Touch of the other world by Akshay Paatil

My Dear Stranger,

I’m writing to you because you matter to me, and I have a lot of things to talk to you about. I want to tell you about where I’ve been and what I’ve been through, what are my dreams and what are my flaws. I want to tell you how a lot of people hurt me, and how I hurt a lot of people too.

I want to listen to you too, I wonder what you got to tell me, what stories are you keen to share with me. I’m wondering if you’re looking for me too.

I’m uncovering my mask, so you could recognize me when you see me. There is a possibility that we passed by and nodded at each other yesterday, week ago, or maybe somewhere in the last couple years. There’s also a possibility that we are both surfing the parallelism waves, and it may never rest ashore.

I don’t know who you’re, I’m eager and curious to meet you, to give you a definition in my life. I’m eager to discuss life with you, or walk down the street drunk at night with you.

I don’t know who you’re. You might be my friend, you might be my wife, you might be my unborn child, you might be my cellmate, you might be my colleague, you might be my flight attendant, you might be a book, you might be a distant star, you might be the very one who created me at the first place. I don’t know, you know?

What matter the most is that we have a lot in common. I’m just like you, I feel eternal, that I’m invincible, that death will never recognize me. We both believe that one day we will rise, one day we will save the day. We both dream of a miracle that can change our ways of living, even though there’s nothing wrong with it, its only our greed, it will never let us rest.

I’m getting old, but I feel like life hasn’t started yet, that the greatest things in life are yet to come, that life will start the very tomorrow. Unconsciously wasting time preparing for the days that we will never see, because we will be still preparing while life flies over our roofs.

I wonder, do you like Thai food? I dig the coconut milk rice.

If you’re my friend, I will be loyal to you. If you’re my wife, I will marry you in every known religion and tradition. If you’re my unborn child, I will be your best friend. If you’re my cellmate, I’d be honored to spend the rest of my life with you. whomever you’re, I will part of you, and you will be part of me.
